Acomplia Review
Acomplia is a prescription
diet pill medication produced by Sanofi-Aventis that treats obesity. It
also aids in quitting smoking. Acomplia works by blocking certain
receptors in the liver and the brain, thereby affecting the way the body
processes fat and glucose. Acomplia
is not available in the United States because it has not yet received approval
from the FDA. Studies have not conclusively proven that Acomplia is an
effective weight loss pill.
Potential side effects include nausea/vomiting, depression, and suicidal
thoughts. It has also been suggested that Acomplia
may cause (or exacerbate) Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, or
Alzheimer's disease.
Conclusion: Due to the lack of FDA approval and
potential serious side effects, WeightLossGuide.com does not recommend the
purchase of Acomplia.
