Cellulite Reduction
Hello! My name is Lindsay Mullen, and I am Weight Loss Guide's resident expert in the Cellulite Reduction category. Cellulite is a problem that surprisingly affects over 90% of women. It can be as big a problem for thin, lean women as
it is for those who are overweight. And believe it or not, even men sometimes struggle with it. Cellulite is basically excess fat that accumulates beneath the deepest layer of the skin. Millions of men and women follow a healthy diet, meal planning, and exercise regimen, but are still afflicted by frustrating dimpling on the thighs, buttocks and other areas. We need more than a healthy lifestyle to help combat cellulite and achieve smoother, softer looking skin.
(If you like crunching numbers, it wouldn't hurt to check out a good
calorie calculator while
you're at it.)
Research and scientific evaluation have shown that there are promising possibilities in the fight against cellulite – including
diet pills, creams, medical procedures, weight loss surgery, and spa therapies. Unfortunately, many cellulite reduction treatments have been shown not to work at all, and others only generate temporary relief. Until now, there has been no reliable source where one can go to understand all the options and compare products and services. So my research team and I undertook an extensive comparison of several different cellulite treatment options
and weight loss products to find out which ones work, which ones don't, and which was the best. Each method was evaluated upon these 5 important factors:
- Ingredients/Ingredient Quality
- Safety/Side Effects
- Speed/Effectiveness
- Feedback/Research
- Value
One particular diet pill came out on top again and again. Check out our top 10 list and find out for yourself which one it was!

Our Review
Of the cellulite reduction treatment options reviewed, one clearly stands out as our first choice: CelluMelt™. Unlike dangerous and expensive invasive treatments or messy topical creams which may not even work, CelluMelt™ is a gentle, safe, side-effect-free, convenient, low-cost and effective alternative that conquers cellulite at its root cause. This product contains the highest amounts of natural herbal ingredients
and
nutrition vitamins clinically proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
CelluMelt™, when taken alongside a healthy diet, helps dissolve gelatinous fats within the connective tissue, improve circulation to remove the broken down fats from the bloodstream and out of the body and restore the strength, firmness and natural resiliency of the skin cells to give you back that smooth and sexy skin tone. Cellumelt™'s ability to attack cellulite from all three angles makes this product second to none. A 10 to 30-day supply, depending on the necessary dosage, is available for $23.95. We highly recommend the purchase of CelluMelt™.

Our Review
Mesotherapy is a micro-injection of medicine into the mesoderm (middle layer of the skin). The medicine shrinks the fat cells in the cellulite, improves circulation, and breaks down damaged connective tissue. For an average patient, 10-25 sessions are necessary in order to eliminate all visible cellulite.
Although mesotherapy seems to deliver results, it is time consuming (at an hour each session), expensive, and if you're not a fan of needles, mesotherapy can be quite
uncomfortable. (A reasonable weight loss diet may be preferable.) Plus, if not performed by a reputable medical professional, a patient can run the risk of injury or infection. Side effects include: slight burning after the injection, numbness (lasting days or weeks), and bruising and/or swelling at the injection site. We do not recommend mesotherapy as the best method of cellulite reduction
or
weight loss.

Our Review
Liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure which removes layers of fat from the body, revealing thinner/firmer legs, buttocks, flat stomach, arms, etc. In this procedure, a rod called a cannula is attached to a powerful vacuum and it is used to remove fatty deposits.
While liposuction is very helpful in the removal of fat from the body, it is not always effective as a cellulite reduction/removal treatment. Cellulite fat is wrapped in a mesh-like layer of connective tissue, and the cannula used in liposuction often cannot break through that tissue to get to the cellulite. Liposuction is an invasive and risky procedure and can also be very expensive. Side effects include: bruising, swelling, temporary numbness, and discomfort in the treated areas. Because better methods of cellulite removal
and weight loss are available; we do not recommend Liposuction.

Our Review
Like many of the products we reviewed, BioTech Cellu-Rid is said to work by
having body
detox properties, improving circulation, and promoting thermogenesis (the production of heat within the body.) Its ingredients are a "proprietary blend" of seven herbs which combine to show only 200 mg total herbal content per serving. Other products contain over 200 mg of just one ingredient within their blends.
While some of the ingredients in BioTech Cellu-Rid are safe, others are questionable. For instance BioTech Cellu-Rid contains Guarana, a natural form of caffeine, whose well-documented side effects include nausea,
insomnia, nervousness, elevated heart rate and increased blood pressure. White Willow Bark (commonly known as aspirin) may also have a harsh effect on the digestive tract. Because of its ingredients, we cannot recommend its use.
