Cleanse for Life Liquid Detox Review
Cleanse for Life, by Isagenix, is not a diet pill. It is a liquid detoxification formula that claims to cleanse the body of toxins and impurities as well as nourish the body, burn fat and boost metabolism. These weight loss products are taken on what they call "cleanse days," where very few calories are ingested, giving digestion a break and allowing the body to detoxify and regenerate itself. Although similar to fasting, Cleanse for Life claims it "speeds up this process by infusing the body with healthy nutrients," calling it instead "Nutritional Cleansing."
The main ingredients in Cleanse for Life are herbs for detoxification and vitamins and minerals for nourishment. Along with a few B vitamins, it includes aloe vera gel, "Isalyte" trace minerals, pau d’arco, suma root, Siberian ginseng, burdock root, fennel seed, peppermint leaf, licorice root, choline bitartrate, inositol, betain HCL, l-methionine, as well as water, natural flavors, fructose and preservatives (potassium sorbate/sodium benzoate). Unfortunately, because these ingredients are listed under a Proprietary Blend, it is impossible to know whether any of them are provided in amounts sufficient for effectiveness in fast weight loss.
I greatly admire the idea of "nutritional cleansing," as fasting for health and spiritual purposes has been used in various cultures around the world for thousands of years. And the aloe vera and the herbs are wonderful. However, when I choose to detoxify, I don’t do it while ingesting more of the toxic chemicals and preservatives I’m trying so hard to eliminate.
Furthermore, at over $40 a bottle for a 2 day supply, this diet supplement is extremely cost prohibitive…unless, of course, you want to join their network marketing organization and try to sell it to all your friends and neighbors.
Conclusion: Because of the exorbitant cost, the fact that it is a network marketing organization, as well as the lack of information provided on ingredient quantities, Weight Loss Guide.com does not recommend the purchase of the Cleanse for Life Liquid Detox.
