Unfortunately, the Ephedra they are talking about is "Ephedra" in name only, not in action. What they are using is Ephedra viridis, a distant relative of the banned Chinese Ephedra (Ma Huang), which contains no ephedrine alkaloids, and thus no real quick weight loss properties (which is probably why it is legal).This is nothing but a marketing ploy associating a useless herb with one that had a reputation as a great fat burner, to trick you into buying it.

Some of these ingredients have actually been well-studied for their support in a weight loss diet, such as Green Tea Extract. But since these other ingredients are listed under the "E5 Proprietary Blend," it’s hard to say if enough of anything has been provided for effectiveness.

Furthermore, this product contains the stimulant Caffeine. We do not advise the use of stimulants in weight loss products as they have been known to pose safety risks, especially to cardiovascular health. When so many effective, all –natural and stimulant-free weight loss products are available, it makes no sense to use something that could damage your health.
