A liquid diet supplement rather than a diet pill, EcoSlim consists of "therapeutic doses" of bladderwrack, cleavers, garcinia cambogia, dandelion, licorice, centaury, guarana, tumeric, ginger, and cayenne pepper. Some of these ingredients do appear to have health benefits such as improving metabolism and appetite suppression. And the Native Remedies website does provide a number of good testimonials showing positive customer feedback.

Unfortunately, we can’t be sure what their definition of therapeutic doses means, and without a diet Supplement Facts list, it is impossible to know exactly how much of each ingredient is in these weight loss products. Furthermore, a few of these ingredients, guarana and cayenne pepper, do have stimulant properties. Supposedly, this is an "engineered formula for effective transportation of fat…straight out of your body." Let’s see what kind of a fat burning product this is. The Fat Stripper contains 150mg of Choline Bitartrate, 150mg of Inositol, 150mg of Betaine, 150mg of Methionine, 10mg of L-Carnitine, and 50mcg of Chromium picolinate. None of these ingredients are truly scientifically proven fat burning, and even the halfway decent ingredients L-Carnitine and Chromium are provided in such miniscule amounts as to be of little help in a weight loss diet. All in all, this product does not provide the kind of hard working ingredients that have been proven effective for fat burning or quick weight loss.

Body Beautiful is supposedly a fat burning diet pill and appetite suppressant that contains "one of the most well-researched and proven fat loss and appetite suppressant ingredients on the planet." That ingredient? 250mg of L-Carnitine. However, studies have found that L-Carnitine did NOT significantly affect either weight or body fat. Nor can it be considered an appetite suppressant.

Couture Curves is a diet pill containing "8 ground-breaking ingredients that work synergistically." These ingredients consist of 100mg Green Tea, 50mg Tetradecylthioacetic Acid, 50mg N-Acetyl-tyrosine, 50mg Alpha-lipoic Acid, 50mg Choline, 100mg Guarana, 75mg Yerba Mate, and 25mg Cayenne. Unfortunately, they do not include nearly enough Green Tea or other ingredients needed for effectiveness in quick weight loss. And Guarana and Yerba Mate are central nervous system stimulants, which may pose safety risks, especially to the cardiovascular system.

Freedom is a fat and carb blocker "that allows you to eat carbohydrates such as pasta, rice and bread and not get fat," or so they claim. Freedom contains 300mg Phaseolus vulgaris, 100mg Gymnema sylvestre, 50 mg Banaba Leaf Powder, 150mg Chitosan, and 50mg Chromium polynicotinate. Although some of these ingredients are helpful in a weight loss diet, again, they are not provided in amounts proven sufficient for effectiveness.

Slim-X is supposedly "one of the most natural and safe supplements you can get for fast and effective weight loss." And yet, the only ingredient in Slim-X is 500mg of CLA. Although studies have pointed to the possible fat burning capabilities of CLA, the optimal amount needed is 5 times the amount in Slim-X.

Slinky is a fat-blocker supposedly "giving you ingredients highly effective for weight loss and combining them with powerful fat absorbers." These ingredients include 150mg Choline Bitartrate, 150mg Inositol, 150mg Betaine, 150mg Methionine, 10mg L-Carnitine, 50mg Chromium Picolinate, and 100mg Chitosan. Again, they have not provided the necessary amounts in this product for effective weight loss.

I see this company as simply trying to get more of your money by splitting up these supposedly great weight loss diet ingredients into 5 different weight loss products. If the main point is to lose weight and burn fat, why aren’t all of these ingredients included together in just one supplement in amounts that provide true weight loss results?

This diet supplement reads like a stimulant factory. It contains 200mg of Dicaffeine Malate, and supposedly "you haven’t experienced the full effects of caffeine until you’ve tried DiCaffeine Malate." It also contains 200mg of Chocomine, which contains even more stimulants, such as theobromine, caffeine, and theophylline.  On top of that they add 20mg of synephrine, the "chemical cousin of the now banned substance ephedra," which is yet another stimulant. In addition to these potent stimulants are two mood enhancing substances, PEA, providing what chocaholics call "Chocolate High" and Humulus lupulus, from the same family as Marijuana. One Fenphedra testimonial even said "I think this makes me an addict but I don’t care."

Needless to say, we do NOT recommend weight loss products that contain stimulants, especially not to this extreme degree, because of their safety risk, particularly to heart health, when on a weight loss diet.

Although Fenterdren diet pills are 100% Ephedrine free, they are so full of stimulants you’d barely know the difference. It contains 375mg of dicaffeine malate, a super charged caffeine, 37.5mg of synephrine, the closest chemical to ephedrine (with similar side effects), and 37.5mg of phenylethylamine, or PEA, the feel-good diet supplement that gives that "chocolate high."

It’s no surprise that they have to include the word WARNING in big red letters on their website, as stimulants such as these have been shown to pose serious health risks, especially to the cardiovascular system. Why risk harming your health, when stimulant-free and effective weight loss products are available?

They try to diffuse the controversy surrounding Ephedra by claiming to use a type of Ephedra which has not been banned, Ephedra nevadensis. Unfortunately, this type of Ephedra does not contain ephedrine alkaloids, therefore it does not actually have the fat burning capabilities that Chinese Ephedra (Ma Huang) has. So basically they are just using this herb for its name, hoping you’ll think it is doing something for you, which it isn’t. 

Then they claim they are using 100% pure Hoodia in this weight loss diet product. And yet I don’t see any evidence supporting this. Because so few companies actually go to the trouble to use the true certified 100% pure South African Hoodia gordonii, those that really do are proud to provide their CITES certifications and documents to prove it. Therefore, I seriously doubt this product has the real thing. Furthermore, the ingredients that are well-studied for their role in quick weight loss, such as green tea leaf, are part of a "proprietary fusion blend," so we have no idea if enough is even provided for effectiveness.

On top of all that, they throw caffeine and other stimulants such as synephrine into the mix. Stimulants such as these can raise blood pressure and heart rate and are proven health risks, especially to the cardiovascular system. Therefore, we do not recommend the use of stimulants in weight loss products, especially when truly effective, all natural and stimulant-free diet pills are available (and at a more reasonable price, I might add).

Evercleanse actually consists of 3 different products. The Cleansing Formula itself is nothing more than maltodextrin, a soluble fiber. The Replenish Formula is simply a probiotic diet supplement with 5 strains. And the Colon Health Formula contains a proprietary blend of flax seed, fructooligosaccharides, larch arabinogalactan fiber, colostrum and indole-3-carbinol. Even if these ingredients were effective for colon cleaning, since the quantities are not given, it is not possible to know if sufficient amounts are provided.

Personally, this product is not the most outstanding colon cleanser program I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t contain any of the herbs that are best known for cleansing, healing, and rebuilding a healthy colon. Rather, this appears to be nothing more than a fiber diet supplement, which is only one component of colon cleansing, and a probiotic, which helps re-establish healthy bacterial balance. Even the probiotic only contains 5 strains, when 12 or more strains are most beneficial.

As far as a weight loss diet product, this product doesn’t have a single ingredient that has been scientifically proven for supporting weight loss. Although I agree that cleansing the colon is a healthy practice, and can be the start of turning your health around, I would not consider this program as a weight loss product.
