Lorcaserin Diet Pills Review
Lorcaserin is a pharmaceutical diet pill produced by Arena Pharmaceuticals. It is still undergoing clinical trials and has not yet been approved by the FDA for public release.
Lorcaserin is designed to be a "selective serotonin 2C receptor agonist," which means it stimulates this receptor site, supposedly resulting in appetite suppression and improved metabolism. Just as a comparison, previous obesity drugs fenfluramine and dexfenfluramine, which were serotonin 2B receptor agonists, were pulled from the market as they were linked to an increased risk of valvular heart disease.
Results from the clinical trials did not appear to provide very promising weight loss diet statistics, in my opinion. Average weight loss for those subjects who had been given Lorcaserin was only 12.7 pounds – after an entire year of taking it – with diet and fitness exercise! I could easily find a more effective solution for healthy weight loss in all natural weight loss products that don’t contain toxic chemical drugs or have such serious potential side effects.
Conclusion: Because this is not only a toxic chemical pharmaceutical drug as well as a yet unapproved one, Weight Loss Guide.com does not recommend the purchase of Lorcaserin Diet Pills.
