Metabolife Diet Pills Review

Metabolife diet pill supplements gained popularity before the weight loss diet ingredient ephedra was banned by the FDA. Back then it was loaded with the dangerous ephedra which had serious side effects, but it was effective. The FDA indicted Michael Ellis, the founder of Metabolife, for obstructing the regulation of ephedra – he knew was dangerous, but disregarded the dangers in order to make a profit. Metabolife was also in trouble and being investigated. He also was being charged by the IRS for tax evasion. Between the loss of sales and millions of dollars in personal injury claims, Metabolife couldn't stay afloat, and filed for bankruptcy in 2005. Since then, Metabolife has changed ownership and its formulation. The new formula contains many weight loss vitamins and minerals that are healthy, but have not been proven to have any effect on quick weight loss. Metabolife contains caffeine (100-200mg) which helps with fat loss by raising metabolism. While this by itself is not an excessive amount of caffeine, Metabolife also contains guarana which changes the entire equation as the sum total of stimulants in these weight loss products could cause serious side effects such as elevated heart rate, jitters, nervousness, etc.

Conclusion: Due to the product's questionable reputation and continued excessive of stimulants, Weight Loss Guide.com does not recommend the purchase of Metabolife diet pills.
