Tonalin® CLA Diet Pills
Product Overview
Tonalin® is the brand name of a weight loss diet pill containing CLA or Conjugated linoleic acid. Although it is a trans-fatty acid, normally the type of thing to steer away from when on a weight loss diet, CLA is known as the beneficial antioxidant trans-fatty acid. Numerous studies have shown that CLA is helpful in reducing weight, especially abdominal fat, but additionally has demonstrated positive effects related to belly firmness, both of which are advantageous for people on a weight loss diet.
CLA can be found naturally in foods – amazingly the highest concentration of CLA is found in kangaroo meat! Meat and dairy products from ruminant animals, like cattle, goats, and sheep contain CLA and if they are grass-fed the percentage of CLA is significantly higher. Another great source of CLA is eggs and studies have found the CLA is still intact even after frying an egg at high temperature.
Strict vegans, some vegetarians and people on low-fat diets would especially benefit by including CLA diet pills in their weight loss diet, as would anyone desiring a leaner, firmer belly.
Taking a conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) diet pill can improve weight loss diet efforts by preserving muscle and firming the belly.
Many positive effects on the human body are attributed to CLA, including:
- Increases metabolic rate
- Decreases abdominal fat
- Enhances muscle growth
- Lowers cholesterol and triglycerides
- Lowers insulin resistance
- Reduces food-induced allergic
- Enhances immune system
Dr. Michael Pariza, who conducted research on CLA with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, reported in August 2000 that CLA "doesn't make a big fat cell get little. What it rather does is keep a little fat cell from getting big." His study further noted that people taking CLA who gained weight tended to gain muscle rather than fat.
A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study, published in the December 2000 issue of the Journal of Nutrition demonstrated that CLA helped dieters achieve fast weight loss by reducing fat while preserving muscle tissue.
